Its that time of year again where we prepare for this years Star Search Competition. Auditions start on Saturday 16th Feb until Sunday 24th Feb, boot camp will be 27th Feb and 5th March, the heats will start on 8th March and the competition will run until the Grand Final on 24th May.

Prizes

Prizes this year will be a range of video show reels and studio recordings, all lucky competitors that get through to the Grand Final will win a video and recording prize. The winners from each category will win a one year contract with D Stars Professional agency and the chance to perform at various outdoor events later in the summer. There will also be spot prizes of free recordings and singing lessons to any one we think deserves them.

How to apply.

Down load the application form here (2008 application) - right click and save target as, save it to your pc, fill it in and email it back to us as an attachment to dave@musictek.net.

Alternatively print it off and mail it to us or look for the application forms in the local Recorder and Post newspapers. Our address is:

Audition offers.

On the day of your audition you may like to buy one of the following offers.

1. For £10 receive a video of your audition on DVD

2. For £20 record a song of your choice in our professional recording studio ( you might want to bring your own backing track)

3. For £30 record a song of your choice in the studio and have it video'd, then receive it on DVD with a video of your audition as well.

Saturday Night Live

After the competition we will invite all the singers back to perform at one of our Saturday night Live events. These are held most Saturdays in the venue and every one brings their friends and family along to support them. It is very much a family audience and a good way of networking with other singers.
 

How to get booked for a show!

First of all if you have been involved with or auditioned for one of our Star Search  competitions then you wont need to audition again.

We'll then offer you a date to come and gig for us.

Our venue is connected to our state of the art recording studio so we can record you from the main stage professionally to the highest of industry standards, video recording is also broadcast quality to the highest DVD standards that exist.
